Abu Dhabi, UAE – 27 March, 2011: Khidmah LLC announces its successful participation in Earth Hour 2011, the worldwide energy saving event that brings together millions of environmental friendly individuals, businesses and communities across the globe.

Supporting Earth Hour Initiative for the 2nd consecutive year, this year Khidmah participated with almost all the properties it manages and carried out Earth Hour activities in more than 50 locations including Mosques in Western region, Government Clients’ buildings, villa communities, residential & commercial towers in Abu Dhabi, and residential towers in Dubai. The company mobilized staff throughout all these developments and turned off non-essential lights during Earth Hour 2011 on March 26th, from 8:30pm to 9:30pm.

Abdulla Al Qamzi, the Managing Director of Khidmah, says:

In addition to educating its clients and employees about Earth Hour and switching off the lights in the properties it serve, this year Khidmah went beyond the Earth Hour. Emphasizing on the need of bringing awareness to the new generation of the society about Climate change, Khidmah engaged youngsters and teenagers of Khidmah managed communities and organized Art Competitions and exhibition on the theme “How to save the environment”.
